Exploring Dak Lak through a “Culinary Passport”

Dak Lak’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has officially launched alongside put into use the “Dak Lak Culinary Passport”.

The Provincial Women’s Union, in coordination with the People’s Committee of O Loan commune, has launched the project “Promoting coral reef conservation management associated with community-based tourism and enhancement of coastal village cultural values”.

From April 9-12, Dak Lak Provincial Culture and Tourism Centre, in collaboration with Dak Lak Tourism Association and Phu Yen Tourism Association, organised a delegation participating in Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi 2026.

In 2025, Vietnam’s tourism sector recorded its highest-ever number of visitors, welcoming more than 21.5 million international arrivals, up more than 20% from 2024, and serving over 135.5 million domestic travellers.

Rather than riding elephants across rivers and hills as in the past, visitors to Buon Don are now gradually becoming accustomed to taking photos with elephants, feeding them, as well as listening to stories about the “legend of forests”.
