Also known as Cu Lao Thu, Phu Quy lies about 120 km southeast of Phan Thiet and covers roughly 18 sq.m. In addition to the main island, the area includes smaller islets such as Hon Tranh, Hon Do, Hon Da Cao, and Hon Hai.
Looking ahead to 2026, the tourism sector targets about 25 million international arrivals, 150 million domestic holidaymakers and total revenue of around 1.12 quadrillion VND (approximately 43 billion USD), reflecting its ambition to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector in line with the Government's goals.
In Sydney in particular, this passion is evident in the long queues in front of banh mi shops across the city, especially in areas such as Cabramatta, Marrickville and Ryde.
By 2045, the sector is slated to account for 9% of GDP. Export value is forecast to rise 7% annually through 2030 and 9% thereafter, while the number of cultural enterprises is expected to expand 10% per year on average.
According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), more than 2 million international visitors arrived in December alone, up 15.7% year on year, pushing total arrivals for the year to a new high.
The magazine said, the country continues to reopen strongly to international visitors after the COVID-19 pandemic, offering diverse experiences while maintaining its distinctive identity.
